Several restaurants opened recently in Fort Myers, one of them being Le Macaron! This location was opened by a Parisian native, Florence del Fondo, who missed her macarons so much that she decided to bring the pastry franchise to her current city of residence.
"My husband and I, we are huge macaron fans," del Fondo said. "We wanted to bring these amazing pastries to Fort Myers."
One of the biggest perks of owning a location of the pastry franchise is that there is no baking required, as all of the pastries are made at the company's confectionary in Sarasota by our team of professional pastry chefs.
"The chef is French and he's been trained in France by all the top pastry makers," del Fondo said. "These are the very best."
Besides the 20 flavors of macarons, the bakery also offers treats such as cakes, eclairs, croissants, and coffee.
